Bracklinn Falls Footbridge
- Replacement footbridge at the Bracklinn Falls.
- No road or vehicular access to the bridge site. Access for construction of the footbridge was along a 1.5km long footpath.
- Scope of works (designed by Cake Industries) to install temporary works to enable the construction and installation of a single span, 24m long corten steel footbridge.
- Temporary works involved installation of a pair of RHS steel beams with cross bracing and an overhead cable crane.
- Using the temporary works the footbridge was launched from the West across the steep gorge and landed onto the East abutment.
- 6-week duration project.
