Carie footbridge replacement, South Loch Rannoch
- Project scope to remove a condemned rotten timber footbridge and replace with Forestry and Land Scotland’s preferred design and specification.
- Existing structure removed and disposed offsite.
- Replacement 13m long structure built and lifted onto existing concrete bridge abutments eliminating the need for temporary in-river works.
- Replacement structure comprised steel aerial mast Ranger ATV bridge and a softwood timber deck and parapet.
